Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawanton Tuesday paid tribute to his predecessor Manohar Parrikar on the latter's first death anniversary, saying the late BJP leader had left his imprint on the state's administrative, social and political set up.Sawant was speaking to reporters after paying a floral tribute to Parrikar at Miramar Beach near here."I miss him every single day. Every time I have to take administrative decisions or attend a party function or in social life, I find his imprint everywhere," the Chief Minister said.BJP ministers Dipak Pauskar, Philip Neri Rodrigues and Goa Forward Party chief Vijai Sardesai were also present on the occasion.Sawant, who took over the reigns of the state after Parrikar's demise, said his government is taking forward the vision of the former chief minister who always thought of development in keeping with the state's requirement for the next 25 years.Infrastructure development, which had started during Parrikar's tenure will be completed by 2022 and will take care of the state's requirements for 25 years, the Chief Minister said."We have well-equipped hospitals, primary health centres and sub-centres. The work on super-speciality block of Goa Medical College and Hospital would be completed soon," he said. The best tribute to Parrikar would be to ensure that Goa is clean and garbage free, Sawant added.
