Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, undergoing treatment in the US, today extended good wishes to his party BJP and workers on its foundation day.
The BJP, heading a coalition government in Goa, is celebrating its 38th foundation day.
Parrikar (62), being treated in a US hospital for a pancreatic ailment, took to Twitter to wish the party on its foundation day.
"On #BJPFoundationDay, I extend my greetings and good wishes to all the dedicated Karyakartas and supporters of @BJP4India, the chief minister said in a tweet.
Parrikar, a former defence minister, left for the US in the first week fo March.
The BJP's alliance partner, the Goa Forward Party (GFP), too, extended its wishes to the saffron outfit.
"#BJPFoundationDay On its 38th foundation day, I congratulate our coalition partner @BJP4India, @GoaBJP & appreciate its efforts in leading a government committed to the principles of good governance, inclusive development & equal partnership," GFP president Vijai Sardesai said in a post on the social networking site.
Besides the GFP, the MGP and Independents are also part of the ruling alliance.
