The bandh was called to protest againt killing of a village head Devendra Kumar Singh alias Chotu under Haspura police station in Aurangabad district on April 29 last.

The bandh supporters brought out processions in the Aurangabad town to force closure of shops and business establishments, official sources said.

They later blocked the Grand Trunk road in Aurangabad disrupting movement of vehicular traffic.
