Moderate to heavy and very heavy rainfall was recorded in northern Bihar while the southern part of the state witnessed light to moderate rainfall in the last 24 hours, the MeT department said.
Patna recorded 0.7 mm rainfall while Gaya and Purnea registered 0.6 mm and 7.7 mm rainfall respectively, they said.
Gaya was the hottest in the state with 36.5 degrees Celsius followed by 35.6 degrees in Bhagalpur, 33.4 in Purnea and 33 in Patna.
Humidity levels in Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea hovered between 72 to 98 per cent in the morning. It was recorded at 79 to 100 per cent in the evening.
