Parts of Himachal Pradesh witness rainfall

The lower and mid hills of Himachal Pradesh witnessed rainfall along with strong winds, while the state capital remained heavily overcast and received light rains.
Minimum temperatures dropped marginally with, Keylong and Kalpa in tribal Lahaul and Spiti and Kinnaur districts recorded a low of 1.9 degrees Celsius and 5 degrees Celsius, respectively.
In Manali, the minimum temperature was 7.6 degrees Celsius, followed by Bhuntar 11.4 degrees Celsius, Dharamsala 13.2 degrees Celsius, Shimla and Solan both 14.4 degrees Celsius, Sundernagar 14.7 degrees Celsius and Palampur 16 degrees Celsius.
Maximum temperatures fluctuated marginally and Una was the hottest with a high of 37 degrees Celsius, followed by Sundernagar and Bhuntar 31.3 degrees Celsius and 31 degrees Celsius respectively, Solan 29.5 degrees Celsius and Dharmshala 27.4 degrees Celsius.
The MeT office here has predicted thunderstorm, squall and hail at isolated places in lower and mid hills of the state tomorrow.
