Pascal's wife Suja Jones had earlier secured an order from the Family Court restraining her husband from meeting his three children, Samson (7), Stella (4) and Joshua (2).

On December 23 last year Pascal had met Additional Commissioner of Police (Law & Order) T Suneel Kumar to ensure that he was allowed to meet his children as he and his mother wished to greet them on the occasion of Christmas and give them gifts.

Pascal is being supported in his efforts to meet his children by a city based NGO Child Rights Initiative for Shared Parenting (CRISP) headed by Kumar Jagirdar.

Pascal's petition seeking quashing of the case is still pending before the High Court.

Pascal, Consular Attache to the Consulate General of France here, was arrested on June 19 last year following a complaint by his wife alleging that he had raped their three-and-a-half year old daughter. He was charge sheeted on September 17 under Section 376 of IPC for allegedly raping his minor daughter.

The High Court had on October 17 granted conditional bail to Pascal observing that the circumstantial evidence did not "specify" he had committed the offence.
