Senior BJP leaders Shahnawaz Hussain, leader of opposition in Bihar Assembly Nand Kishore Yadav, new entrant to BJP from JD(U) Monazir Hassan and LJP MP Chirag Paswan were prominent among those present on the occasion.
Expelled JD(U) leader Sabir Ali, who unsuccessfully contested bypoll to Rajya Sabha recently, was also present at the function.
Sushil Modi, Paswan and others were seen wearing caps wore by members of minority Muslim community on such occasion.
Ramvilas Paswan, who is Union minister for Food in Narendra Modi government, told reporters that the Ramzan was a holy festival and hosting of such Iftar party promotes relations between Hindus and Muslims.
A large number of people from all walks of life joined the Iftar party of Sushil Modi at Anjuman hall in minority dominated Sabzibagh locality.
