Ram Vilas Paswan stages dharna in support of toddy sellers
The LJP chief sat on the dharna for about two hours and threatened to launch an agitation in support the community
Press Trust of India Hajipur Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan on Saturday staged a dharna in his Lok Sabha constituency here alleging that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was trying to kill the livelihood of toddy seller community.
The Lok Janshakti Party chief sat on the dharna for about two hours and threatened to launch an agitation in support the community.
The dharna was organised jointly by Dalit Sena and the party's Vaishali district unit at the historic Gandhi Ashram here.
It was attended by hundreds of party workers and leaders.
