The PWD of Delhi Government has started the process of constructing a swanky 8-storey building at the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, where the district court will be shifted.
A top PWD official said that all clearances for the building has been received and it was floating tenders for construction of the complex within next two weeks.
Official also said that the new court premises will have double basement parking with a capicity of around 823 cars over eight floors and will be built at a cost of Rs 306 crore.
According to PWD, the new building will also have an open hall measuring around 3500 sqm for the lawyers' chambers and other facilities.
"As per project's plan, there will be a space for bank, post office, ATMs, stamp vendors, library, food court, lunch rooms at every floor in new building and administrative blocks will also be constructed," he added.
Apart fromt that, dispensary will also be built and new building will also have an automated security system.
