Patient dies as ambulance collides with truck

A patient on the way to SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack from Baripada died in a road mishap when the ambulance dashed against a stranded truck on NH 5 near Chingudi Chawk, 40 km from here today, police said.
Four personA, three attendants and the driver were injured in the incident and two of them seriously, police said.
They were shifted to the medical college hospital in Cuttack.
The ambulance dashed against the statonary truck near a turning leading to the death of the patient D. Mahanta (43).
