Organised by Nephroplus -- a dialysis delivery network in the country, the four-day long journey kicked off on October 9 from Jalandhar, covering parts of Ludhiana, Kurukshetra, Panipat, and Sonipat on the way.
The bikers, who rode over 400kms across eight cities, were felicitated by paralympic and Arjuna awardee Rajinder Singh Rahelu in Connaught Place today.
"A lot of the people undergoing dialysis unfortunately believe that they cannot lead a normal life or cannot do things an otherwise healthy person can do.
Keeping in view the medical needs of the bikers, a fully equipped ambulance capable of conducting a dialysis session en route also accompanied them on the ride.
