Justice K K Mandal gave 20 days to the Sasaram MP to approach the apex court to challenge the July high court order setting aside his election.
The HC said that during these 20 days, the MP could mark his attendance in Parliament but would not be able participate in the proceedings and would have no voting right.
The high court verdict followed a plea by Sasaram voter Gagan Mishra who had told the court that Paswan had supressed information about a case regarding a protest at Durgawati reservoir which was pending against him.
Paswan had defeated Congress leader and former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar in the 2014 polls from Sasaram (Reserved) seat.
