Patna to witness foggy morning tomorrow

Major cities of Bihar, including Patna, today witnessed a dip in the mercury by a few notches but afternoon sunshine gave citizens a relief from the biting cold.
According to Patna Meteorological Centre's forecast, another foggy morning followed by mainly clear sky later in the day was witnessed in the state's four major cities -- Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea.
Residents of Patna woke up amid dense fog but later enjoyed a sunny day from the afternoon.
According to MeT bulletin, the minimum temperature recorded at Patna was 10.7 degree Celsius against yesterday's 11.5 degree Celsius, while the maximum was registered at 20.2 degree Celsius against yesterday's 22.5 degree Celsius.
The temperatures are likely to come down in the state capital with both maximum and minimum temperatures expected to be around 20 and 10 degrees Celsius, respectively, tomorrow, an official said.
Gaya recorded a low of 8.3 degree Celsius and a maximum of 22.2 degree Celsius, the MeT bulletin said.
Bhagalpur recorded a minimum of 11.8 degree Celsius and maximum of 20.6 degree Celsius which is the highest maximum temperature recorded among the major cities of the state.
Purnea registered a minimum of 11.4 degree Celsius and a maximum of 25.3 degree Celsius.
