Patnaik flags off 30 more buses

Odisha Chief minister Naveen Patnaik today flagged off 30 more buses under the Biju Gaon Gadi Yojana (BGGY), to operate in left wing extremism LEW) hit and remote areas in the state.
The state owned Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) would operate these 30 new buses in 28 routes of Sundergarh, Deogarh, Gajapati and Nuapada districts.
Earlier, 57 such buses buses were put into the service in the LEW hit distsricts.
"Buses will start plying under Biju Gaon Gadi Yojana from today. These buses will run in the remote areas of Nuapada, Deogarh, Sundargarh and Gajapati districts. This will be very helpful to people in these areas to avail better communication," Patnaik said.
