Myriad Pictures announced the project at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it will presell the film to foreign buyers.
'Caught Stealing' is the first book in Huston's popular Henry Thompson trilogy, said The Hollywood Reporter.
"Caught Stealing is, first and foremost, a great script. It is a wrong-man plot worthy of Hitchcock and a brilliant adaption of the first book of the Henry Thompson trilogy. I look forward to seeing the story come to life on screen," said producer Kirk D'Amico.
Wilson, 39, will play Hank Thompson, a hotshot high school baseball prospect turned unlucky alcoholic, going-nowhere bartender who mistakenly gets caught up in a bloody treasure hunt through New York City. Whereas, Baldwin, 54, will play a sadistic cop.
