Patwari arrested while taking bribe

Vigilance sleuths today arrested a Patwari (revenue officer) while accepting bribe in Udham Singh Nagar district here.
Suresh Chandra Lohni was caught while taking a bribe of Rs 15,000 from a complainant in his office, SP (vigilance), Kumaon Sector, Amit Shrivastava said.
The complainant, a resident of Jarasu village here, had lodged a complaint with the department on July 17 alleging that Lohni had demanded bribe from him for making his income certificate, he said.
