A patwari (village level revenue officer) was today allegedly caught red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 8,000 from an Army jawan at Knad village, some 20 km from here.

Tomar, posted in Assam, had bought the property some months ago, Lokayukta Inspector Kamal Nigwal said.
After he filed complaint about bribe demand by Jaiswal, police laid a trap and arrested the latter red-handed.
