Paula Abdul, Jason Derulo join 'So You Think You Can Dance'

Actress-singer Paula Abdul and singer-dancer Jason Derulo have been confirmed to join 'So You Think You Can Dance' as judges.
The pair will be joining Nigel Lythgoe on the judging panel of Fox's dance competition show for its 12th season, reported People magazine.
"With the new and exciting format comes a new and exciting panel of judges," Lythgoe said.
"Paula is an incredible artist, and she brings the perfect combination of expertise and heart to the panel. Jason's insight, humour and creativity will add a new perspective to the panel that we haven't had before."
The news follows Fox's previous announcement that Mary Murphy had been dropped.

Both Abdul and Derulo had appeared on the series in the past as guest judges.
Meanwhile, Cat Deeley will be continuing as host.
'So You Think You Can Dance' returns for its 12th season - with a stage dancers versus street dancers twist - in the summer on Fox.
