Detailed guidelines have also been issued to all the deputy commissioners of the state in this regard.
In a communique, Sukesh Kalia, Chairman of the commission, directed all deputy commissioners to put all the prominent and public places under constant surveillance so that the actual mastermind or a gang behind child begging could be nabbed and given severe punishments.
A special district level task force was being constituted to ensure implementation of the action plan which will give its report to the commission after every three months, a release here today said quoting Kalia.
He has also written to the private and government child care homes to provide shelter, health care facilities etc. To the rescued children.
He also said once the children are freed from the clutches of the gangs, they should be imparted vocational training depending upon their age so as to ensure dignified livelihood to them.
The children who are interested in pursuing their academic activities, could be admitted in schools under Sarv Sikhya Abhiyan, the Chairman said.
