Departments have been directed to furnish details of jobs provided by them to the next of the kin of the deceased employees on compassionate grounds in the last 5 years, an official spokesman said here today.
This appraisal report has been sought from the department to review the present policy of 'jobs on compassionate ground' so that the process of providing jobs to the next kin of the deceased employees could be expedited, he said.
Similarly departments have also been directed to mention in the report those cases which have been cleared by the respective department/ Redeployment Cell for the jobs on compassionate grounds, he said.
These reports would enable the state government in reviewing the present policy and removing the bottlenecks by amending it, the spokesman added.
