Dudha was welcomed in the party by Additional General Secretary Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Provincial President, Kashmir, Nasir Aslam Wani and other senior leaders at a function organised at the party headquarters here, a party spokesman said.
Dudha, a pandit leader, had unsuccessfully contested the 2008 Assembly elections from Amirakadal constituency of Srinagar and MLC elections this year.
The National Conference leaders expressed hope that Kashmiri Pandits living as migrants in Jammu and other places of the country will return to their homes in the Valley.
"Kashmir is incomplete without pandits and they should return to their homes," Kamal and Wani said.
