The incident took place in Sisoria village last night when a group of armed dacoits raided the house of the PDS dealer Kishan Chaudhary and fatally shot at him before looting cash and valuables worth Rs six lakh, Sub-Divisional Officer Akhilesh Kumar Singh said.
A case has been registered in this connection and raids were being carried out to nab the robbers, he said.
Chaudhary's body has been sent for post-mortem.
