In his Republic Day message, he said his government would continue to persuade the Centre to earmark sufficient funds to Puducherry.
"On our part we will tap the potential to enhance the locally available fiscal resources so that progress and development would be taken care of", he said.
Narayanasamy said that peace and safety and security of people are hall marks of Puducherry which might be geographically tiny but is on par with bigger States in registering development.
