Peas edge higher on pick up in demand

Barring a rise in peas prices on pick up in demand from retailers, other pulses held steady at the wholesale market today on little doing.
Marketmen said besides upsurge in retailers demand, restricted supplies from producing belts mainly pushed up peas prices.
In the national capital, peas white and green were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,100-3,125 and Rs 3,300-3,400 per quintal respectively.

Urad Rs 9,300-11,600, Urad Chilka (local)Rs10,100-10,300, Urad best Rs 10,200-10,800, Dhoya Rs 10,600-11,000, Moong Rs 6,950-7,500, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 7,350-7,750,Moong Dhoya local Rs 7,750-8,250 and best quality Rs 8,250-8,450.
Masoor small Rs 5,200-5,600, bold Rs 5,350-5,650, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,000-6,500, best quality Rs 6,100-6,600, Malka local Rs 6,150-6,650, best Rs 6,250-6,650, Moth Rs 5,500-5,900, Arhar Rs 8,200, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 11,300-13,000.
Gram Rs 4,750-5,250, Gram dal (local) Rs 4,970-5,270, best quality Rs 5,300-5,500, Besan (35 kg), Shakti Bhog Rs 2,200, Rajdhani Rs 2,200, Rajma Chitra Rs 5,100-6,400, Kabuli Gram small Rs 6,200-8,000, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 5,100-5,300, Peas white Rs 3,100-3,125 and green Rs 3,300-3,400.
