Peas moves up on uptick in retailers demand

Barring a rise in peas prices following pick up in retailers demand, rest other pulses held steady at the wholesale pulses market today.
Traders attributed the rise in peas prices to uptick in demand from retailers amid restricted arrivals from producing belts.
In the national capital, peas white and green rose by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,400-3,425 and Rs 3,600-3,700 per quintal, respectively.
Following are today's pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 11,000-12,700, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 11,300-11,500, Urad best Rs 11,400-12,000, Dhoya Rs 11,800-12,200, Moong Rs 6,700-7,400, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 7,200-7,600,Moong Dhoya local Rs 7,600-8,100 and best quality Rs 8,100-8,300.
Masoor small Rs 5,950-6,200, bold Rs 6,000-6,200, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,500-7,000, best quality Rs 6,600-7,100, Malka local Rs 7,100-7,400, best Rs 7,200-7,500, Moth Rs 5,500-5,900, Arhar Rs 8,700, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 11,600-13,300.
Gram Rs 5,900-6,400, Gram dal (local) Rs 6,200-6,500, best quality Rs 6,650-6,750, Besan (35 kg), Shakti Bhog Rs 2,800, Rajdhani Rs 2,800, Rajma Chitra Rs 5,500-6,850, Kabuli Gram small Rs 7,100-8,600, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 5,100-5,300, Peas white Rs 3,400-3,425 and green Rs 3,600-3,700.
