Peas rises on retailers demand

In restricted activity, peas prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale market today on pick up in retailers demand.
However, other pulses moved in a narrow range in restricted deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said pick-up in demand from retailers,mainly led to rise in peas prices.
In the national capital, peas white and green rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,000-3,050 and Rs 3,050-3,150 per quintal respectively.
Following were today's pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 3,900-4,700, Urad Chilka (local) 5,400-5,600, best 5,650-6,250, Dhoya 5,950-6,350, Moong 6,200-7,400, Dal Moong Chilka local 7,300-7,700, Moong Dhoya local 7,300-7,400 and best quality 7,900-8,000.
Masoor small 4,500-4,750, bold 4,700-4,800, Dal Masoor local 5,350-5,450, best quality 5,450-5,550, Malka local 5,000-5,300, best 5,200-5,300, Moth 4,700-5,000, Arhar 4,250-4,350, Dal Arhar Dara 5,800-6,000.
Gram 3,150-3,700, Gram Dal (local) 3,900-4,100, best quality 4,000-4,100, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,400, Rajdhani 1,400, Rajmah Chitra 7,200-10,700, Kabli Gram small 4,000-6,400, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,200-5,800, Peas white 3,000-3,050 and green 3,050-3,150.
