Peas slide on subdued demand

Peas drifted by Rs 50 per quintal in lacklustre trade at the wholesale pulses market today on weak demand from retailers and stockists.
Marketmen said weak demand from stockists and retailers against sufficient stocks position mainly led to decline in peas prices.
In the national capital, peas white and green traded lower by Rs 50 each to Rs 2,900-2,950 and Rs 2,950-3,050 per quintal, respectively.
Following are today's pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 5,150-5,650, Urad Chilka (local) 6,350-6,550, best 6,600-7,200, Dhoya 6,850-7,250, Moong 5,850-7,150, Dal Moong Chilka local 6,950-7,450, Moong Dhoya local 6,850-7,150 and best quality 7,650-7,750.
Masoor small 5,150-5,350, bold 5,150-5,450, Dal Masoor local 5,900-6,000, best quality 6,000-6,100, Malka local 5,600-5,900, best 5,800-5,900, Moth 4,100-4,400, Arhar 4,100-4,250, Dal Arhar Dara 5,400-5,700.
Gram 2,750-3,450, Gram Dal (local) 3,500-3,700, best quality 3,600-3,700, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,340, Rajdhani 1,340, Rajmah Chitra 5,000-8,500, Kabli Gram small 3,800-6,400, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,200-5,800
