Peas weaken on subdued demand

Peas prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market today on muted demand from retailers.
Other pulses, however, after moving in a narrow range on little doing, settled around previous levels.
Traders said easing demand from retailers against adequate stocks position led to decline in peas prices.
In the national capital, peas white and green traded lower by Rs 100 each to 3,300-3,325 and Rs 3,500-3,600 per quintal respectively.
