Peas weakens on muted demand

Peas prices declined in an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market today owing to sluggish demand from retailers against sufficient stocks.
However, other pulses moved in a restricted range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said subdued demand from retailers against sufficient stocks led to decline in peas prices.
In the national capital, peas green declined by Rs 50 to Rs 2,900-3,000 per quintal.

Masoor small Rs 5,500-6,500, bold Rs 5,550-6,550, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,700-6,900, best quality Rs 6,800-7,000, Malka local Rs 6,600-7,200, best Rs 6,700-7,200, Moth Rs 5,800-6,200, Arhar Rs 9,800, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 13,500-15,000.
