Pending works will be completed on priority basis: Minister

Maharashtra Tribal Development Minister Vishnu Savara today said here that all long pending developmental works will be taken up on a priority basis in the tribal-dominated district.
Addressing a press conference here, Savara said focus will be on providing better medical services, education, eradicating malnutrition and increasing communication services in the region.
He said that to combat large number of malnutrition deaths in villages of Jawhar, Mokhada, Wavar and Wangni, government had set up office of Additional Collector at Jawhar but no concrete steps were taken in solving it.
To discuss various issues, Savara said, a meeting will be soon held with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Issue of the shelved Dahanu-Nashik Rail link project will also be taken up, he added.
BJP National Council Member Om Prakash Sharma was also present at the conference.
