"You" star Penn Badgley has boarded the cast of feature "Here Today".
Billy Crystal and Tiffany Haddish play the lead in the movie, which also stars Laura Benanti, Anna Deavere Smith and Nyambi Nyambi.
Crystal is also writing and directing the movie.
He will essay the role of veteran comedy writer who is "slowly but surely" losing his grip on reality when he befriends a talented young New York street singer, portrayed by Haddish and the two form an unlikely, touching friendship.
Louisa Krause will play the wife of Crystal's character.
The project, produced by Astute Films' president Fred Bernstein, is currently filming in New York City.
