Trinamool Congress today said there is a risk of riots if a BJP government comes to power at the Centre and people are worried about it.
“If there is a BJP government then there is a risk of riots. People are worried about it,” TMC general secretary Partha Chatterjee told reporters here.
Alleging that the BJP was communal while the Congress is corrupt, the TMC leader said people must vote for their party leader Mamata Banerjee.
When asked about comparison of West Bengal with Gujarat, he said the Trinamool government takes care of every section of the society in West Bengal. “Ours is a model of how to bring inclusive development by focusing on health and education sectors. It cannot be compared with any other state including that of Modi,” Chatterjee said.
