Accusing the BJP-led Central government of 'ignoring' the common man, senior SP leader Naresh Agarwal today said that people have lost hope for "Acche Din (good days)".
"I will give zero marks out of 10 to this government," he said on the Modi-led Union government ahead of it completing one year in office.
"He (Narendra Modi) spent most of his time abroad while farmers, youth, women and minorities have suffered," Agarwal said.
The SP leader claimed that the country had never suffered such downfall which it has in the last one-year. "Now, people have lost hope for Acche Din," he said.
"Earlier, they (Centre) won the election with help of media and now want to propagate their accomplishments through them," he charged, adding that it is good that media has understood the truth.
"What action was taken against their leaders for giving provocative statements? Only disagreeing to them is not enough," he said.
Taking a dig at the Union government over the land acquisition bill, he said, "Constitution has given the right to property to the citizens. Violating it and giving the land of poor farmers to industrialists will not be accepted by our party.
