People, not Maoists will speak the final word: Abhishek

Trinamool Congress MP and national president of All India Trinamool Youth Congress Abhishek Banerjee today said the Mamata Banerjee government in West Bengal has proved that people and not the Maoists will speak the final word in Junglemahal.
Speaking at a public meeting at the Belpahari Circus grounds in West Midnapore district ahead of the Trinamool Congress' July 21 Martyrs' Day rally, Banerjee said the days of Maoist leaders like Kishen'ji and others were over and the ruling TMC government lead by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has ensured that people speak the final word in the Junglemahal area.
"Earlier people could not venture out of their homes due to Red terror. Everyday reports of murders used to appear in the newspapers. Today, there is peace. In the last four years there has been no influx of Maoists activities and development has taken centre stage," said Banerjee.
