People support Congress' policies: Hooda

Buoyed by Congress' win in the recently held elections to municipal bodies in Haryana, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today claimed the victory has proved that people are satisfied with the party's policies.
Hooda told reporters after a meeting with the newly- elected mayors of municipal corporations and presidents and vice presidents of two municipal committees that went to the polls recently.
Of the total 144 seats of the Municipal Corporations of Yamunanagar, Ambala, Rohtak, Hisar, Panipat, Karnal and Panchkula that had gone to the polls, Congress won 103 seats, BJP 25 and INLD 16.
