Perez clocked a best lap time of 1:28.902 to end the qualifying race at seventh while Ocon was one place behind with a best lap time of 1:29.074.
Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes, who finished fourth, is likely to drop five grid places for an unscheduled gearbox change.
If that happens, Perez will start at sixth -- at the third row -- while team-mate Ocon will begin at seventh -- at the fourth row -- at the final race tomorrow.
