The company posted a net profit of Rs 71.31 crore in the same period a year ago.
The total income of Persistent Systems was up by about 17 per cent to Rs 542.73 crore during the reported quarter compared to Rs 464.17 crore it posted in the corresponding quarter of 2014-15.
The company also announced to appoint Sunil Sapre as its Chief Financial Officer in place of Rohit Kamat, who would retire on November 30, 2015. Sapre's appointment is effective from December 1, 2015.
