Petrol pump manager shot at, robbed in Bhagalpur

Armed criminals today shot at and wounded a petrol pump manager before looting Rs five lakh from him near the police lines under Town police station of Bihar's Bhagalpur district, police said.
Three motorcycle-borne criminals intercepted a petrol pump manager Sujit Kumar Upadhyaya and shot at him before looting the cash, SSP Rajesh Kumar said.
Upadhyaya, who sustained bullet injuries, was rushed to the nearby Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College and Hospital where his condition was stated to be critical, he said, adding that a case has been lodged in this connection and raids were being carried out to nab the culprits.
