Singer Phil Collins has cancelled his highly-anticipated comeback concerts at the Royal Albert Hall here this week, after suffering a fall in his hotel room.
The 66-year-old musician was admitted to hospital after the accident, which left him with "a severe gash on his head close to his eye" that required stitches, reported The Guardian.
"Phil sends his sincere apologies and thanks to fans. He has had a fantastic week at his first (full) shows in 10 years, and cannot thank people enough for their warm reaction and is excited to return," the statement released to the publication read.
The concerts have now been scheduled for November 26 and 27 this year.
