Oscar-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman apparently wanted his son Cooper with former parter Mimi O'Donnell to be raised here.
In some of the details revealed about the will of the 46-year-old actor, who was found dead on February 2 of a suspected drug overdose, Hoffman left behind bulk of his fortune to O'Donnell, reported New York Post.
Hoffman also named O'Donnell executor of his estate and trustee of at least one trust fund he set up for Cooper.
"It is my strong desire that my son, Cooper Hoffman, be raised and reside in or near the borough of Manhattan...Or Chicago, Illinois, or San Francisco, California," reads the document, which was submitted to Manhattan Surrogate's Court yesterday.
"The purpose of this request is so that my son will be exposed to the culture, arts and architecture that such cities offer," the document read further.
The will was signed ten years ago, when his son was 1 year old. Hoffman also had two daughters children, seven-year-old Tallulah and five-year-old Willa with O'Donnell.
