'Physical test for men, women candidates held separately'

After the controversy over male examiners allegedly taking measurements of women candidates, authorities have decided to hold the physical eligibility test here separately for women and men for the post of forest guards.
"Female candidates will be examined only by the woman staff," Bundi District Forest Officer (DFO) Digvijay Gupt said.

The women candidates have been called on the first day of the test, while the male candidates will appear in the second phase, he said.
A total of 1,715 candidates, including 196 women aspirants, from across the state will take part in the drive.

He said that every candidate's interview will be recorded and the physical eligibility test photograped to maintain transparency.
Besides, staff from education, medical and police department have been engaged to conduct the test.
