A special Pakistan International Airlines flight landed here tonight with 134 Pakistanis after evacuating them from San'a, the capital of strife-torn Yemen.
Minister for States and Frontier Regions Abdul Qadir Baloch, who received the passengers on behalf of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, told reporters the evacuation process would continue via special flights and Pakistan Navy ships.
"In the next three to four days a Pakistan Naval vessel will also return home carrying 150 more Pakistanis," he said.
The PNS Aslat sailed from Mokallah in Yemen yesterday and is expected to dock at Karachi port on April 7. The vessel is also carrying 36 foreigners including 11 Indian nationals.
Baloch said that 849 Pakistanis have been evacuated from Yemen following the Saudi-led assault against Houthi Rebels.
Prime Minister Sharif has summoned a special session of Parliament tomorrow to discuss Saudi's plea to Pakistan to take part in the conflict.
