Pilot accuses Raj govt of adopting 'anti-people policies'
Press Trust of India Jaipur Rajasthan Congress chief Sachin Pilot today accused the BJP government in the state of adopting "anti-people policies" and "denying them benefits" of schemes initiated during the rule of his party.
"The government has denied benefits of free medicines, pension schemes to people thus making lives of the poor more miserable," he alleged during a dharna here.
"It adopted polices which are resulting in exploitation of the poor. Three lakh beneficiaries have been denied (social) pension. This is not an administrative lapse, but a deliberate act of the government," Pilot alleged, adding crime has increased during BJP rule in the state.
Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Rameshwar Dudi, senior vice president of Rajasthan Congress Bhanwar Lal Meghwal and other leaders also addressed the dharna.
