Pink Panthers drub Delhi to assure semifinal berth

Making dents in the strong defence of Dabang Delhi through fine raids by Maninder Singh and Jasvir Singh, hosts Pink Panthers Jaipur posted a fine 41-31 victory to assure a berth in the semifinal of the Pro Kabaddi League here at the Sawai Man Singh Indoor Stadium.
It were Dabang Delhi who were leading 18-16 at the breather but in the second half Jasvir Singh and Maninder Singh tore apart the strong defence of Dabang Delhi and earned three lonas to notch up a 41-31 victory to assure their team of a last four berth with a kitty of 48 points from 12 matches.

On the other hand Dabang Delhi are currently placed sixth with 26 points from as many matches and virtually out of the contention.
It was a fine fighting effort from the local lads who looked out played in the first half but came back strongly through Jasvir Singh who scored 7 points and Maninder Singh who posted 11 points through their raids which tore apart the defense of Dabang Delhi.
