"It is time the producers do something really meaningful to curb piracy. It is time we don't have to hear from our audience in other frontiers that they have already seen the movie in pirated versions before the dvd is actually unveiled," Prosenjit said at the launch of DVD Aparajita Tumi produced by Vicky Donor Director Shoojit Sircar.
"It is gratifying for an actor if he is told about a performance as the most intense one in his life with very little dialogues. But it is again frustrating to see hundreds of pirated discs brought by that man, on being told the dvd was not made by producers yet," he said.
"But no idea why Tony has omitted me from the second film," he said.
Elaborating on the globalisation factor, Prosenjit said, "Recently during my visit to Singapore, I was told by several directors there they had been watching movies like Autograph, Baishe Srabon, Moner Manush and Aparajita Tumi and fasinated by the range of Bengali films."
