Player, coach get red card in PKL

Raider Amit Rathi of Bengaluru Bulls and Telugu Titans' coach Srinivas Reddy became the first from Kabaddi arena to be shown red cards for violating fairplay rules during a Pro Kabaddi League match.
Rathi got a sent off with a red card for kicking rival Rahul Chaudhari, while Reddy suffered the same fate for showing dissent during last night's match between Bengaluru Bulls and Telugu Titans.
Both Rathi and Reddy have been penalised and a one-match ban has been imposed on them.
"Amit Rathi of Bengaluru Bulls was shown red card for unfairly lifting a rival player during his raid," Pro Kabaddi League Technical Director E Prasad Rao told PTI here.
"At the same time, the coach of Telugu Titans also was shown red card for disturbing the ongoing match by indulging in shouting near playing area," he added.
Telugu Titans got the better of Bengaluru Bulls 35-26.
