The company, which has 13 lounges at Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore, has aggressive plans to tap into growing Indian middle class market.
"India is a big opportunity for us. We are looking at expanding to many more locations. We will open lounges in Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata by this financial year," Plaza Premium Lounge Founder and CEO Song Hoi See told PTI.
Hoi See, however, refused to share investment to be made in new lounges.
The company is also looking at setting up training cluster in the country wherein it can employ and train staff to work in its lounges across the globe.
"We are looking at setting up a training cluster here. Labour is cheaper here and people speak good English. We have already trained few people and sent them to work in our lounge in Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi," he said.
Plaza Premium Lounge, which reported revenue of USD 110 million in fiscal 2012-13, is looking at expanding it global presence to 160 lounges by fiscal 2016 from 114 lounges in 29 airports at present.
