The weather department said there was no rainfall before 8.30 AM but traces of it were there during the day.
Visibility at Palam and Safdarjung was recorded at 1500 mt and 1200 metres respectively at 5.30 AM and had dropped to 800 metres at both the places, a MeT department official said.
Weather conditions in the morning also affected rail traffic as 34 trains are running late by several hours and 12 trains have been rescheduled, a railway official said.
The humidity level oscillated between 89 to 63 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy skies for tomorrow with shallow to moderate fog in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperature are likely to hover around 22 to 14 degrees Celsius respectively.
Yesterday, the minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded at 11.9 and 23.2 degrees Celsius respectively.
