PLFI frontline activist arrested with 4 accomplices

A self-styled Area Commander of ultra outfit 'People's Liberation Front of India' (PLFI) was arrested today along with his four associates from Banabira Nawatoli under Rania police station of extremist-hit Khunti district, a senior police officer said.
Acting on information that a group of ultras led by its self-styled 'Area Commander' Kishan Kundalna alias Bangali, a native ofSamuktala police station area of Alipurduar distirct West Bengal, gathered in the village, a police team headed by the Sub-divisional Police Officer Vijay Kumar Mahato rushed to the spot in the early hours and conducted raid, Superintendent of Police, Anish Gupta said.
Gupta told newsmen that Kundalna, along with his associates Dukhia Topno of Simdega distirct, Sagen Topno, Robin Topno alias Bauna alias Mota and Kamal Lohra - all residents under Rania Police station area - were arrested.
Police recovered a 315 bore rifle, one 12 bore double barrel gun, 8mm Pistol, .32 bore Pistol, nine live rounds of cartridge, six mobile phones from their possession.
The officer said Kundalna and Dukhia had four criminal as well as extremism-related cases pending in Rania police station.
A case under section of 25(1)B) A/25 (1A),26/35 Arms Act and 17 CLA act against them, Gupta added.
