With Prime Minister Narendra Modi set to address students on February 16, the Haryana government has directed all higher education institutes in the state to make arrangements for students to watch and hear the telecast.
All state and private universities and government-aided colleges in Haryana were today asked to make arrangements so that students don't miss the prime minister's address on how to deal with examination stress, an official statement said.
The public address would be organised at the Talkatora Stadium, in Delhi.
"The prime minister will interact with the students of schools and colleges from 11am to 12noon on February 16 on matters concerning how to reduce examination stress. The programme will be broadcast live by Doordarshan through DD National, DD News and DD India.
"Besides, it would also be available live on different radio channels, including All India Radio, live web streaming on websites of the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Human Resource Development...," the release said.
The PM's interaction would come days before the start of Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations.
The PM has authored a book 'Exam Warrior'. The 193-page book offers 25 'mantras', including yoga asanas, to help students face examinations without stress.
